Christine LaRocca
Treasurer
Christine LaRocca serves as Chief Counsel for the New Jersey Highlands Water Protection and Planning Council, a regional land use planning agency that works in partnership with municipalities and counties in the Highlands Region of New Jersey to protect water and other natural resources. Her prior legal experience, both in private practice and industry, has focused on environmental, health and safety, real estate and land use law.
Christine resides in Old Tappan, New Jersey and Cooks Falls, New York, with Gregg Eiband, her husband and fishing buddy of 25+ years. Together, they have traveled throughout the United States and the world to catch fish on a fly rod, but Christine always loves to return to the Delaware, which she considers her home water.
When not working or fishing, Christine volunteers her time to a number of community not-for-profit organizations in addition to FUDR, including Spectrum for Living Development, Inc., which provides residential, medical and support services to more than 700 developmentally disabled adults in New Jersey, and The Joan Wulff Fly Fishers, an organization dedicated to promoting women’s skill and interest in the sport of fly fishing. She currently serves as Board Secretary for FUDR and fully supports the organization’s mission, not only to protect the ecosystem, but to support the local community that has become her second home.
