Knotweed in the Upper Delaware River Watershed

Friends of the Upper Delaware River (FUDR) and our conservation partners received funding to research and document the extent of knotweed colonization and its impacts on soils and aquatic habitat. This year, we are establishing three demonstration sites where landowners can see different options for managing, controlling, or even eradicating knotweed using a variety of low-cost techniques – stay tuned for more details.

Thanks to everyone who joined us and our event partners, New York League of Conservation Voters, Penn State’s Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center, and Shippensburg University’s Center for Land Use and Sustainability to learn more about the research and knotweed management techniques during our free informational webinar.
